About Bani's Restaurant & Bar
Modern Greek cuisine, lovingly created in the heart of Cowes, has locals and visitors returning time and again to Bani’s Restaurant & Bar on Thompson Avenue. This Phillip Island dining destination has picturesque views of Western Port Bay while indoors embraces a coastal vibe of blue and white with cane and blond wood table settings and stunning pictures of the Aegean coastline. Begin a seafood feast with flash-fried calamari, tirokafteri and parsley, or King prawns, grilled over the fire; before mains of mussels cooked in white wine, saffron, fennel, chilli, dill and garlic broth, served with pita bread. Carnivores opt for tender and juicy slow-cooked lamb shoulder with almond tarator, roasted capsicum, eggplant and onion salad and roasted sweet potato; finish with authentic baklava.
