A taste-bud-tingling menu of South American cuisine awaits discerning Ettalong Beach foodies at new kid on the block, Chica Chica on Broken Bay Road. Newly renovated and revived, the vibe is warm and welcoming with coastal chic accents offering intimate dining only five minutes’ walk from the beach. Take to the first-floor lookout for both indoor and outdoor heated and covered dining and graze on small plates of spicy tuna tartare with smoked paprika aioli, capers, eschalots, coriander, fermented chilli and potato crisp; or wood-grilled King prawns, guajillo chilli, roasted garlic butter and coriander. For the main, say gracias to beef brisket tacos with roasted red chimichurri, pineapple salsa and coconut jalapeño vinegar; or wood-fired lamb rack, roasted parsnip and miso purée and jus.
